Day 5 - Victoria’s Meltdown
I am blogging this entry a day too late because I have decided against my initial decision not to blog it for the lack of any physical activity. Today I decided to blog each day’s progress versus blogging physical progress. That way I can be true to the 100 days goal.
Today’s activities are worth of credit to wellness still despite the lack of actual physical exertion.
SPIRIT: Last minute cancellations from Victoria and Valentina for two separate family emergencies, I barely forced myself to wake up at almost 4pm pushing myself to attend this Sunday’s Feast. I thought to myself I will make up for it next week by attending double sessions. I almost didn’t make it. Thanks to Romeo who despite had prior plans, places me on top of his priority list and decided to accompany me to the Feast. We didn’t catch the mass but made it just in time for the worship. Boy Abunda was also there, alone, which in an instant made me change how I perceive him. He truly makes time for God. And as if God appreciated the effort to attend despite the odds, we were ushered to sit at the back of the worship leaders where JB, Carlo and JC were all there. I remembered it was JC’s birthday so I greeted him. JB extended his hand to shake ours during one of the preacher requests and Carlo displayed his brotherly affection to his co-bros all too showy perhaps because he did notice I was there. I am glad we went to today’s session.
Victoria was feeling down because she was inspired by her VCF session to make amends with her estranged family. Only to be verbally attacked and pushed away. She was so crushed, she was so angry. It was a good idea to go and pick her up and push through with our movie plan of the week. I also combined my missed catch up with Psycho Gemini to my movie date with Romeo and Victoria, drove all the way to Gateway, hungry, but ended up having a good time. The day ended with Romeo staying one more night with me and we cuddled in my stinky sofa because we were so damn sleepy.
It was a Good Sunday. It was a good weekend. :)
