Day 32 - Living for Your Glory
BODY: I cannot believe how I needed to take painkillers to sleep last night. I thought I’d be able to sleep with my body worn out but I was wrong. My forearms were so exhausted from all the shelves I wiped and vacuumed that i couldn’t sleep. A lot of my friends think it’s because I am not used to it. Well, partly true but I did clean my house in the past although with some help. (insert moment of nostalgia when I had Kenn and Pepe help me out with the general cleaning and quickly turned into an x rated memory of my ex). Cut!
SPIRIT: I attended the Feast today with Valentina and also with Maricel and her friends. It’s her birthday. It’s always good to attend the session with lots of company. It feels great to be with a lot of people when being blessed.
Then it happened. I have had a deal with Bro JC about serving and for the past two weeks I’ve been delaying it. Coming up with reasons and pushing it further out of my schedule. Today, the will of the Almighty happened. I was anointed to serve. After a small hello to Brother JC I’ve been asked to wait and stay for a quick meeting and then behold, I’ve been introduced to the entire team and even received a polite applause during introduction. Do it Afraid, Hero. No looking back now. Things flew fast but all things went well. I’ve been introduced to two other servants, Mich and April. Mich is the girl I’ve been crushing on ever since I saw her lead the lay ministry. I’ve thought about getting close to her from serving and now we are on the same team! Brother Carlo also saw me in the meeting and was excited to find me serving and hugged me! God does find ways in exceeding expectations! Unbelievable!
I am now an official servant of the Lord! I’m saying YES to you Lord, Use Me for Your Glory!
