Day 30 - Friday
I have no idea what happened to my Friday except some more trying to sort my stuff out. And was supposed to go out but chose to sleep longer past my alarm.

Day 29 - Out on a Thursday
My back (particularly my lower back) is telling me I’ve been running at the wrong posture for so long. Aaargh. This is why I need to be supervised when working out. I think about how much money I will spend on personal trainer and makes me think it should not be that expensive. I am still in search of a workout buddy, that has not progressed. Although I know I can do the sets on my own, I...

Day 27 & 28 - The Storm
TUESDAY: Typhoon Pedring stormed Manila and hit my area real bad. Roxas Boulevard was destroyed. More importantly, my momentum in cleaning my place. Tuesday broke my mall schedule to go get more boxes to stack all my other stuff that should be given away. It should be scary really, as the typhoon storm signal hit number 3 and everything was being cancelled— flights, school, work. You know...

Day 26 - Happy Birthday Mom!
BODY: 20 minutes alternate run and a brekkie of strawberries and yogurt to start my Monday. It’s raining today and I feel a little bit mixed about what I’m supposed to do versus just letting the day pass by. I should win over sluggishness and get to work as much as I can. I am glad I triumphed over not doing my blog and here I am starting it right.  I also started sorting stuff at my...

Day 25 - Despedidas
SPIRIT: I woke up surprised to see my brother and Mayden sweety punchy on my couch. That means, they are back together! Which means hurrah! My mom is celebrating her birthday a little early today because of some busy Monday ahead. The close entourage was there including my best friend cousin Ian whom I hugged the moment we saw each other. I am always happy to see my mom enjoy her ice cream binge...

Day 24 - Spongebob
SPIRIT: My last day of the week was pretty uncremeonial. I packed my stuff which surprisingly didn’t exceed one box (well there were frames and another box of printer inks) unlike in my previous farewells. What do you know? My expiration has been yearly on assignments! Just past my one year in Alabang, I am now off to a new role. Bittersweet. I hugged as many people as I can goodbye and...

Day 23 - Site Anniversary
BODY: 20 minutes and a few to burn some fat. I saw someone at the gym with freakin abs and cuts who swam after working out. I wish I could do that but I have chewbacca on my back. plus i don’t have abs. Every little bit helps. I did down corndogs, cakes, and ice cream at work today. It was a party so I had to.  SPIRIT: Though I have had my health conscience constantly whispering in my ear,...

Day 22 - Old and Fat
SPIRIT: My ego has landed. I am getting old and fat. When I walked into the salon earlier today, I was greeted with disbelief by my old hairdresser who hasn’t seen me for a long time. It crushed me. But I decided not to get beaten by it and push still with my endeavor. Everything results from effort and work. If I am to achieve the body and look that I want, then I need to work hard for it.

Day 21 - Middle of the Week
BODY: 20 minutes at the treadmill and more consistent run. Every little bit helps. I still can’t get over the fact that I have not lost any weight despite being a goat the past few days. I do feel the difference in my waistline though. It has slimmed down a bit. Although not visually. I’ll get there someday.  SPIRIT: Today we have scheduled for the Site Leadership to meet Jonas. A...

Day 20 - End of First Day of the Last Week
BODY: Accelerated run today at the treadmill with a couple of push ups. I did weigh myself earlier today and nothing has changed. I am not discouraged though. I feel the slight change in the way I fit into my tight pants though. SO all is not lost with my mostly vegetarian diet. I need to adopt a more frequent eating habit though, I keep forgetting how that is more beneficial and faster in weight...

Day 19 - Monday
SPIRIT: Went to Feast by myself as Valentina and Victoria and Romeo cant go. I did try to make last minute pulls from just about anyone in my reserve list but ended up going alone. Good thing MJ was there at least for an hour. I did spend a few minutes with Brother JC and he talked to me about helping with the events and making it better. My back is also acting up so I had a home service with the...

Day 18 - Early to Rise on a Sunday
BODY: Early to rise today. My parents spent the night and that is always a treat for me. It’s always great to have company. After a breakfast of hot chocolate and 2 piece of pandesal, I am off to a Sunday run. Walking through Pedro Gil all the way to the Film Center, It is always a pleasure to see fellow health enthusiast wake up so early on a Sunday to start the week right and try to shed...

Day 17 - Down To The My Last Week
SPIRIT: It’s the weekend and I am down to my last week! I spent a good 9 hours at work completing everything I needed to do. It is somewhat bittersweet introducing Jonas to my team and touring him to the site I own and now giving away. Looking back, most of the time, makes you think and know what are the things you could’ve done better. I know I could’ve done more and did a...

Day 16 - The Calling
BODY: I haven’t really weighed myself since Day 1. Well, i sort of did in day 2 and saw a drastic 4lbs reduction. But the next day I gained it all back. Since then I haven’t weighed myself. It’s been 16 days and I hardly see any difference. My own program of every little bit helps is I guess to little to have an impact. But my hopes are still high and I know it’s still way...

Day 15 - Wednesday Feast Alabang (WFA)
I hope I can keep up this daily entry. I am getting a little discouraged with the slow progress in execution that I needed to catch up with the date entires.  BODY: Frankly I’m having trouble remembering if I did cardio yesterday. I think this catching up on dates is really screwing up my memory. But I do know I did some house work today, trying to vacuum the baking soda out of my stinky...

Day 14 - Paul's Wake
SPIRIT: Went to Paul’s wake last night. On the way I felt like crying. I didn’t do it. When I was there I had to take more than a few minutes to get myself ready to see him inside a casket. It was unreal. He looks dead. I want to thank my best friends White Bitch & Mother Nature for accompanying me with a last minute invitation.  Also, at work, finally started to pass the baton...

Day 12 & 13 - Toast Box
BODY: Successfully pushed myself to do a 30-minute routine at the gym downstairs. Combined chest, shoulders and ab workout. Every little bit helps. DIET: downed a salad to start my day, a cup of sumiyaki, a small buko tart and pineapple juice to kick energy for my workout. I believe I do not need to be drastic about my diet but to control my portions while cutting fat and carbs by choosing...

Day 10 & 11 - Catch Up Entry
Me doing the entry at the end of the day versus start of day (from graveyard work) has been screwing on the numerics match with the entry. But I shouldn’t be bothered as that is just aesthetic. The goal is results.  BODY: The long drive back home is really a tiring one. I’m glad Erik Jon agreed to drive from Nasugbu to Alabang. With the exception of Victoria, I have a different roster...

Day 9 - Morning at Punta Fuego
BODY: I am successful in waking up early morning and doing a good morning walk along the pathways of Punta Fuego. Victoria and I walked from the countryt club all the way to the beach club and felt the water on our feet. No wonder a lot of people dreams of living by the beach. The beauty it provides goes beyond the sight. It attacks all the senses with a feeling that doesn’t seem to lack...

Day 7 & 8 - Double Entry
I am combining two days to catch up for the past few days that I have not been on schedule. It is a tight week with an upcoming big activity at work. Day 7 was pretty good in terms of diet. I am eating more greens and choosing my food better. Day 8 though at our company sponsored leader’s appreciation day, food is abundant. BODY: I drove to Punta Fuego in the dark. I was with some of my...

Day 6 - Losing Ground
Really getting beaten by being tired from work and finding it hard to revive after the weekend. I didn’t do any physical activity today but I think I did better with my choice of food. I am really moving towards becoming more and more vegetarian.

Day 5 - Victoria's Meltdown
I am blogging this entry a day too late because I have decided against my initial decision not to blog it for the lack of any physical activity. Today I decided to blog each day’s progress versus blogging physical progress. That way I can be true to the 100 days goal. Today’s activities are worth of credit to wellness still despite the lack of actual physical exertion. SPIRIT: Last...

DAY 4 - Party Failure
Failed. I didn’t do any treadmill or any ab workout today. I just got home at the break of dawn on my first test of weekend wellness that ended up almost like any other weekend.  BODY: I drove quite a long drive than my usual Saturday as I went to Las Pinas for Nestle’s despedida avec house blessing. Since I failed to sleep immediately despite the fact that I got home early. If I am...

Day 3 - Goodbye Nacho King
I’m feeling a little more energetic than usual. I’m not gonna take into account the two days I have somewhat run but maybe a little bit. Oh, it’s a Weekend! There you go!!!  BODY: Did a little above 30 minutes today so I can reach the total 3K distance. I brisk walked till about 10 and ran another 10 minutes straight. Then I cooled down slowly as I wait for my new smiley...

DAY 2 - Victorious Day Two
So I’ve weighed myself for the sake but I’m not recording daily shedding of pounds but more on accomplished attempts for healthier living. Here’s what I did today: BODY: 30 minutes of treadmill again. This time warming up to 15 minutes of escalating walk then proceed with 30 second alternate escalating run. One of the best fat burning cardio I’ve learned when I was in...

Day 1 - Not Bad For A First Day
Had myself measured today by our company nurse.  WEIGHT: 184 lbs (83 kilos) BMI: 26.4 I have gained! AArgh! Based on my last ECU I was 25 BMI. which is the ceiling. My target is to at least get to 170 lbs and be in the range of 18.5 to 24.99 BMI.  Here’s What I Did Today: I’m so glad the gym downstairs are not full at 7AM. So that gives me the window to start at a consistent time...
